I encountered this a few times already for the WvW dailies in the past and I don’t quite understand how it occurs. Last week, one of the dailies was to capture a tower. I captured one solo and received no credit for the daily, despite capturing it and only got credit when I had taken a second tower with an ally.

For today’s WvW camp daily of taking it twice, I’ve captured three camps already and gotten credit only once. Why is that?

Are you capturing ruins instead of towers, maybe?

There are some achievement in WvW where you need to capture more then one to get your achievement.

For today’s (13. mai) WvW capturing a Camp, you would need to take two camps, so you should have been given credit for the second capture of camp when count down timer was finished claiming your capture of camp. Third capture wouldn’t give you any more from achievement.

Just be be clear: what do you mean by “credit”? Is that achievement or rewards in general you are talking about?

Nope, it was a tower considering that when I had captured it the second time, it was the same exact spot (after the other team took it back). Plus, ruins have no defenders while a tower has archers, a gate, and people on top.

And yes, I took three camps, and it took a fourth camp for me to get “credit” which was to get 2/2 camps captured for the daily.

What “tower” did you take? the game is particular about its definition of that term.

The “tower” was at Bluebriar in Green borderlands, and it had to be captured twice to count as one. So yes, it was A tower. Not a ruin. Or a keep, or a camp. I do recall me saying I had captured the SAME spot. If it was not a tower, taking it a second or third time would not have registered as a tower capture.
