Guild Wars 2

This is the 3rd day in a row that I’ve logged into the game, done the daily AP’s and the 10 points haven’t counted towards my total. I sent in a support ticket regarding this yesterday, but so far no one has responded (usually they have by now).

Has this been occurring for anyone else? Any known issue?

More than likely, you have reached the cap on Daily Achievements. If your Daily and Monthly total Achievement points add up to 15,000, then that is the case.

If so, you should close your ticket to the CS Team by saying ‘I no longer need assistance’.

Hmm, interesting… I never knew about a cap earlier. And yeah daily and monthlies add up to exactly 15k. Very weird, I’m gonna have to try harder now. :P

There are usually a few posts about this every month, if not weekly, for a game mechanic that has been like this for years.

You’d think all those years it’s been like this were plenty of time to add a notification to the game.

to cap that makes no sense. at 15000 ap if you divide by 10 ap per day it means that after 1500 day you do not get any point any more. it equal to 4 years (more precise 4.10958904109589) if you played all the day in the year. if someone finished collecting all the ap achievement and cannot collect the daily ap he must wait on for anet to produce more achievement. they should leave the daily with no cap. at least it will give those player something to do until they add more achievement.
