Bought 25 of “Roasted Meaty Sandwichs” , didn’t progress “Daily Feast” daily

I agree with the OP, it should count toward the Daily Feast daily task as it requires 25 Food to complete and Roasted Meaty Sandwich is listed as a Food consumable.

so what does count? Seeing as meaty sandwiches still don’t.

Is their a list anywhere of what does count?

So far, I’ve found, rice does, and silver(shiver?)peak ration pack.
Anything else?

I usually get veggie burgers from the TP (or make them if I have chef active)

They seem to be the cheapest on there.

Roasted Meaty Sandwiches have been bugged for a long time and don’t count towards the daily achievement. Most other foods do.

However, the cheapest and easiest way to get the daily is to just buy Rice in Bulk from a Chef NPC. For just 49 karma, that gives you 25 Rice Balls that you can quickly consume to get the daily.
