Even when I set off 5 (I can literally look at the spent firecrackers and count 5), it only shows 4 in either DR or citadel and then I have to go to the other location and get the last one. More troublesome however is that the firecrackers don’t reset with the daily. If I activate them at 10pm I have to wait till 10pm the next day for them to refresh.
If this is intentional it’s a huge pain.

Firecrackers seem to be character-bound, so you can just bring another character to either of the two places, and finish your DB Daily Achievement at any time. (The unresponsive Firecracker in WvW is known; I don’t have any issue with the Firecrackers in DR.)

I do get all 5 of them when I set them off. But I have the same problem of not resetting. This happens in DR (only location I tried until now). I have to wait for quite a while until I am able to fire them. Could well be that they indeed reset on the time I did them previously.

You don’t have to wait, unless you only have one character. Just bring another character to DR or WvW.

Thanks for the info… this still seems oddly inconvenient and counter-intuitive.
