Dark Harvest Specialization
If I remember correctly the issue is that you haven’t opened it.
As soon as you open it it will update the collection, just like the adventures will only give the achievement items for collections if you open the silver/gold chest.
Its totally counter intuitive, but there you go.
btw if you’re worried about having proof that you obtained the chest, why not make a screenshot?

They still need to update the descriptor or mechanism.
I needed a Necromancer’s Cache, so I mapped Auric Basin. I got the reward but the specialization collection didn’t update. I reported this in game yesterday but nothing seems to have happened since.
Necromancer Serious Spirits still has the cache, I didn’t open it. Is this an issue as description doesn’t mention opening?
- Reporting a bug in-game alerts the ANet devs that there’s an issue. If you want individual support, you need to create a support ticket.
- Even if with a support ticket, you won’t always get a human reply within a few hours.
- Finally, yeah, it’s ambiguous whether the requirement is getting the cache or opening it. However, speaking for myself, I’d say this was a very low priority to change (and yes, even changing minor text like this has a cost).
