In Metrica Province, there is a skill challenge in which you have to defeat a Hylek chieftain named Utcua. In the server I’m on (Dragonbrand,) Utcua is dead. I’ve attached a picture of what it looks like. It is also impossible to select Utcua, and he has been like this for at least a day now.

Loch Jezt skill points on dragonbrand is bugged. that frog stayed dead since last night…
I saw a thread last night so I didn’t bother to post, but then the post disappeared this morning so I thought it was fixed, but nope, still dead…

The giant frog guy that gives the skill points seems dead since yesterday and you can’t activate him no matter what.

Yeah I was playing an hour or so ago and encountered this in Metrica Province. I’m on the Stormbluff Isle server if that matters!

Not only yesterday. I checked this place 3 days ago

Don’t know what server you found this on, but we have the same problem on Dragonbrand

Same bug on the Blackgate server.

Darkhaven as well. It’s the last thing I need for map completion and the frog’s been dead for days.

Same bug on Henge of Denravi. It seems to be fitting the same old pattern of skill challenges or vistas (helloooooooooo, cattleputt!) not working properly and blocking map completion.

Same for Tarnished coast server

He’s been dead for at least four hours on The Isle of Janthir server as well. I wasn’t online before that.

He is still dead as of five minutes ago, last thing needed to complete area for me

This skill point is also bugged on Stormbluff Isle. It has been for at least 2 hours now. The frog is dead.

This skill challenge is also bugged on Isle of Janthir. He’s been lying dead since last night too.

He has been dead and broken for over 2 days…….

Utcua’s still dead on Ehmry Bay, as well, and has been for 3 or 4 days.

He’s also dead on Gandara.

Still bugged. Come on ANet, surely this is an easy thing to fix? A lot of folk can’t finish Metrica Province without it.

There are two skill points that are broken currently in Metrica Province that prevents area completion.

• The Durotl Grounds in Metrica Province skill point NPC is dead and unable to revive.
• The Outer Inquest Complex is missing the Black Ice 4444 golem. He simply is not there to defeat.

Both of these have been bug reported via the in game system.

Bugged in Tarnished Coast, too. There was a little group of people gathered around his corpse, seeming to be staring at it forlornly..

He has been dead on Blackgate also, for at least the past 5 hours. Last thing I need to complete in the area, so Iv just been standing here watching him in the background while I do other things around the house.

and this thing still dead after a 2 days….

Been dead on Jade quarry for the last 3 days… i want my completion x.x

Yep, Piken Square too. Looks like it’s a generic bug. Even if they patch the code soon, I suspect it will take a server reset to get it back on its feet.

any official words for all these bugged skill challenges? all these broken skill challenges are pretty much filling up this bug forum fast…..

And it is still bugged, even after the (I presume) server restart, I’ve got four maps that are missing 1 skill challenge each before I can get the 100% completion.

This skill challenge is bugged for me too in Crystal Desert. I hope they fix it soon. =/

Same on Northern Shiverpeaks. Are there any servers that still work? O.o

Aurora Glade -world, same problem, the dude is dead, been returning to him for 2 days now. Last thing to complete the map, argh.

And still the same at Loch Jezt, frog is dead… :{}

Yeah, Ehmry Bay is bugged for this too. Any help or sign of life would be nice.

Same bug on Sea of Sorrows. Painful. Please fix this stuff soon, ANet.

On Ft Aspenwood Utcua is now completely missing. Before last night’s patch, his lifeless body was visible with the empty skill point icon above his corpse. Now, no Utcua, no icon, and still, after all these days, no possibility of completing the zone.

This is the very first Skill Point available to those playing Asura. It is on the east side of the south end of the zone, just south of the Durotl Grounds POI.

Frog is still down on Dragonbrand.
He is in a different position than last night, so that’s something.

(Metrica province skill point) Since im a completionist person i cant move to other areas before this one is fixed, i also read that when server does"soft restart" he is up for some time, other “legend” is that there is a way to bug him and some f….ers are doing this all the time;p

I am really getting tired of running into the same problem in every map. I hope ArenaNet gets their act together on these soon.

On Tarnished Coast, the Hylek for the skill point in Loch Jezt is simply missing now. Not dead, certainly not working, but… yeah.

I know that the patch notes didn’t explicitly mention broken skill points, but I was really hoping that these would all have been fixed.

He is broken on the Underworld server as well.
It would be wonderful if it could be fixed, as I only need him for 100% for that zone.

The NPC is dead and does not respawn on whiteside ridge.

The hylek frog man skill point is bugged, it is not respawning, im on underworld server and it is based east of loch jezt in the Metrica Province

Same case on Far Shiberpeaks (eu)

It’s been this way for a while and it probably won’t be fixed any time soon. Be prepared to wait at least a week.

it’d be really helpful if a rep say something about this…? the frog is still dead after the patch is something really…. interesting…..

Same skillpoint (Loch Jezt) on Tarnished Coast, but he’s missing rather than dead. He was dead prior to the September 25 patch, and has been MIA since then.
