I just did an event in Plains of Ashford were you have to prevent two tents from getting destroyed by ghosts. The problem is that there are way too many ghosts spawning.

Only me and another player were doing this event, but it seemed like the event scaled upwards as if we were there with lots and lots of players, while in fact there were only two of us. We could hold on for maybe 3 minutes before the tents were destroyed…

This event is even a challenge when you have 10+ players. You have to defend 4 approach lanes and the ghosts are very hard to distract from rushing to the tents and fight players instead. They’re also pretty sturdy so that while you engage one set the next often spawns and manages to rush to the tents unopposed.

I’ve been with all my alts (one per profession) in the Charr starting area and the few times this event did not fail was with 20+ players and then usually only one tent was left and that with only a few HP remaining.

Agreed. I just did this event with a group of about 6 of us. There ghosts were spawning in packs of about 8, and were already dropping spells on the tent before their feet touched the ground. Every time they spawn, the tents are going to take some punishment. Sometimes they’re already attacking before I can see them. It’s entirely unavoidable. It’s not the same as events where enemies charge their objective. The ghosts spawn right next to them.

We had two guardians keeping the melee ghosts at bay with lines of warding and similar area knockbacks, but anytime a ghost healer managed to survive, that fiery rain attack quickly chewed the tents to nothing because of their size.
