If you go to the sell tab of the Trading Post and click on a collectable, then go to your inventory and deposit all collectables. The collectable will still be sellable on the Trading Post window. Selling the collectable will crash the client.

This crash happens anytime any item that you are currently at the sell screen for is no longer in your bag when you then hit the “Sell” button.

Initiate sale of an item
Deposit, destroy, move item to bank
Hit “Sell” button
Crash
Presented with a report to send to Anet on the error.

It was not always like this. Previously, clicking the sell button after the item was no longer in your bag would result in the sell button turning gray and nothing would happen. Now it crashes the game.

I only know this because I’m a curious person and like to test out different scenarios just to see what would happen…just as anyone on the QA Team should be doing. I sometimes wonder if anyone on their Quality Assurance/Testing team has ever done real beta testing for any game (actual beta testing to find bugs/exploits, not just to play the game early).
