I logged onto my newly made Ele gathered a few Items Tried to Deposit some Low Tier Mats with the deposit tap clicked on it didn’t work had to manually store them

You may have had them inside of an invisible bag. If items are kept inside of an invisible bag then they do not deposit when you hit deposit all collectibles.

As stin stated they might be in a low level invisible bag (making it impossible to quick store items) or your collectible list is full stacked at 250 ( or more if you bought the expanders)
