Guild Wars 2

Hey,

there seems to be an issue with the depth blur. If you tick the option everything is “blured” not only the things which are far away.
Even the menu is “blured”.

This occured only since after the last patch …

So it is still the same. Guess, I am the female character on that picture and I discovered it.. as I tried to play after the patch was made I thought I would need to wear glasses because everything faded and blurred (I did not change anything). As Tyr found the solution everything went back to normal for me.
But is it intended to work that way? I had the option “depth blur” ticked before and everything looked fine, then the patch changed it that ticking it made it blurry.. hmm..
Did nobody notice that, too?

I noticed the same thing. I always had the option checked but today I noticed it to be a lot more blurry than usual. Unchecking the feature seems to make the game look better for me.

I only noticed this problem on the southern end of Lornar’s Pass.

It is mainly an issue with that zone and setting. For now you can just turn depth blur off in that zone and turn it back on everywhere else.
