Depth blur seems to be affecting everything, even close-up
I noticed this today playing in Timberline Falls. Not sure if the area has anything to do with it (I would assume not), perhaps I just noticed it because it’s an overall brighter area compared to where I had been playing recently. I have bad eyes anyway, so I may have just not noticed it. But now that I have, I can’t seem to not notice it. Disabling depth blur fixed it for me as well.
I assume it’s not GPU related, since I have an AMD card.

Timberline falls is most blurred location of all, so yes it had everything to do with it. Some locations in timberline falls are ok, but some are blurred so much that it starts to hurt eyes while you play. Turning off depth blur helps a ton.
Timberline does seem to have this more consistently. I checked a few other areas and didn’t notice it at all, including the southern part of Lornar’s which has an environment similar to Timberline.
Day/night effects it, too. During the day, the blur is pretty extreme at Kyesjard in the northwest corner of Timberline. An NPC standing within melee range had quite obvious blurring, and ones farther off were even worse. I couldn’t see any difference between blur being enabled/disabled at night in the same location.

I’m having the exact same issue. Some reply from the admins would be nice.
I also have this issue on the Timberland Falls map (only here, to my knowledge). But only on certain areas of the map.
For example, south of Nonmoa waypoint is not blurry, while near Nonmoa waypoint is blurry. The graphic blur drastically changes each time I cross some “imaginary” lines between certain areas.
I am including a couple of screenshots (blurry and not blurry). The settings are the same on each one, only the position of my character has changed. Though the blur difference is more noticeable while moving…
I went back to playing after posting here and the blur issue was gone. Then it started again after a while, in the same specific areas. I guess this adds to the problem being also day/night related…
it is so kitten blury I cannot see anything with my naive 1080p resolution. I had to disbale that just for that are, and it is the only area has this issue as far as I experienced
I have the same in Timberland Falls, mostly. Noticed few other times to, but nothing major and really disturbing, as in Timber, where it really kills my eyes.

I just installed a new R9 280x, and now have also that problem.
Never had that before however with my 6870.
If you want to play longer in Timberline it seems to help to check and uncheck it in the options, however very annoying.
Edit:
I deleted my local.dat file, that seems to fix it .. at least for the moment.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
