Im on the crystal desert server. About a month ago I went to Iron Marches to check out the meta events there. The wiki page is not very informing about the meta event so I had to find it out myself. Back then when I went to do it. I was in the meta event status “Sentinel Whiptail is searching for a powerful ally in Lamprey Grottoes.
Protect Sentinel Whiptail while he finds and tames a siege devourer”
I escorted him through the event. And then it bugged. He stayed in one place at the camp, not moving, even though it said a new event started. So I waited for a while, it didnt work, then I left.
Again I came today, about a month later, and it was on “The Sentinels at Brandwatch Encampment are preparing to assault the Brand.” I was excited and I went to the location northeast of the Glorysteps. I am supposed to protect Sentinel Whiptail while he does the event. However, even tho his devourer is near the waypoint northeast of lake desolann. Sentinel whiptail is back at the camp near glory steps. Its like hes stuck in place. Hopefully you guys can fix this for me. Thanx. here are some pics

Currently bugged on Far Shiverpeaks, Gandara, Ruins of Surmia

Don’t know if it’s still broken from last year or newly broken, but it’s stuck now, and this is tied to getting traitline 5, trait X.

(along with a bunch of events needed for Treasure Hunter, but that’s another post).

Servers don’t exist anymore guys. New megaserver shards are created literally all the time.

This event just has a (seemingly) absurdly high frequency of bugging. Just buy the trait.

Like every other existing bug that does not relate to the gem store or living story, it has a near-zero probability of ever being fixed. Because of this, it’s probably a waste of your time to report this (and most other) bugs.

Because the information this thread provides + the screens are great and because of the collection for HOPE I’m reviving you, oh bug thread! RISE MY MINION!

Seriously, before it was just annoying but noone cared about the event. But now, it’s part of a legendary collection and I find it both frustrating and pathetic that this even after 3 years still is bugged!

Please ANet – fix it. I still hope for tonights patch but – hehe – I guess that’s just a dream… Or rather – I “HOPE” for it >_>

Regrettably, this event has a high chance of bugging. I have reported it several times since launch and have never seen it fixed.

I been waiting for this to get going for 3 days now, the giant devourer doesn’t move, Sentinel Whiptail is stuck at the camp sometimes randomly throwing stuff and walking up and down the tower. NOTHING is progressing and I’m getting really annoyed about this, this is ridiculous. Why even include something this buggy in the legendary collection??? Did you guys just pull a random event to stuff in there?
