I completed the event twice,
First time with a group in story mode, and got the achievement but not the reward.
Second time in solo mode, also completed successfully but still no reward.

Did Canach Story mode before the update, together with a guildy right after i got the mail and got no reward exept the achievment.
Repeated it after the update and still no reward.

this belongs in the bug section, Arenanet allready stated they are aware of this and are working on a fix.
