Guild Wars 2

I was completing the Monthly reward by doing the salvages and when I reached the last tier of it, 4 or 500 salvages, the game failed to give me any chest for the achievement. I had completed and maxed out everything else.

Also, the daily did not reset so I assume the game still considers it to be October…

I was on my last WvW kill and as soon as I got it the monthly reset to November, did not give me the monthly October acheivement and now shows WvW kills as being complete for November.

My daily reset but wtf – why did it reset already!? It’s not even November on ArenaNet’s server time! I could have finished it if it ACTUALLY changed when the month changed. I only had to salvage some items. Now the monthly has dungeons and some other ??? crap. I am so pissed.

And now the daily reset and the Monthly reset taking away the complete WvW for November. I submitted a bug report with screenshot when it was showing as complete for November but there was no heading for achievements so I had to submit under general.

Glad I’m not the only one with this problem

Wow, logged in today excited to finish up my monthly achievement, just needed a few more items for that ridiculous salvage requirement. Boom it was reset. It’s still daylight at ANet and certainly not November yet. I don’t appreciate this Halloween Trick!

Today is the 31st.

At 5pm PDT, it “becomes” Nov 1st and resets.

Basically, you all lost 7 hours of the last day to do anything. Thank ArenaNet for that, since they didn’t give you a grace period to reset tomorrow at 5pm PDT.

This issue has been reported since Aug. ArenaNet does not care to change it. So basically, never count on the last day to do anything. You will not be given it.

Good to know, and sad I didn’t salvage the last of my items last night.

Its a US server and not Nov anywhere in the country!!! Give us midnite eastern as you would expect for huge time consuming achievements like this Arenanet!!

It’s not a bug. Well from my perspective they were 1 hour late. Every day resets exactly on 0:00 GMT. It’s the same for everyone and it never changed so everybody should know it. Yesterday i missed my daily achievement because of that (Forgot, that my clock is in winter time now) but it’s my fault and it’s not bug.

And it’s your fault for waiting to the last minute to complete sth. You had a whole month to complete it and it it’s not short time. I bet if they allow you a day or even a second month of grace period, you would still be too late to finish it…
