Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn’t find anything through the search engine.

As I’ve been told by several of my friends, as well as on the main GW2 page detailing the new events, I am supposed to have received a message through the ingame mail, each time there was a new event.

I received one a while ago, telling me of the start of Dragon Bash and to talk to the 8 captains at Lion’s Plaza. However, I did not receive the letter yesterday to do the first quest, nor did I get one today, according to GW2’s main page, “A Mysterious Message”, informing me on how to continue.

Now I could follow the directions on the site, but I still think there’s an underlying issue, which I would like solved. Not to mention the narrative in the letter, as it is supposed to set up the introduction of the quest.

TL;DR: Is there any reason why I did not get yesterday’s and today’s event mails?

How many messages do you currently have in your inbox? You are limited to 10 envelope style messages (hearts and dungeons don’t count).

I have 8/10. Would it have shown up as one of them?

The ones I’ve received have all been envelope style ones so far.
