Hello,

I was testing with two weapons, sigil of fire/sigil or battle, and I noticed that the two sigils, despite being different, shares the CDs. So if Fire activates and I swap weapons immediately, battle will not activate.

Is this supposed to happen? Or is this a bug.

Not exactly.

It is intended that two sigils which share the same trigger share the same cooldown (so you can’t trigger two effects at the same time), but if the sigils have different triggers (like in this example one triggers on critt, the other one triggers on weapon swap), it just makes no sense.

You can see how it was meant to be at sigils which don’t have CD, you then have the effect that only one sigil triggers on a certain event, but a sigil without CD will still trigger while another sigil is still on CD.

So I guess….This means that this is a bug then?

No. The weapons swaps are working as intended: you can only get one “weapon swap effect.” Keep in mind that some weapon swap effects do not work on Elementalist: life steal, 100% crit, and I forget the other.

For some reason weapon swap sigils share a cooldown with crit sigils: we do not know if this is intended -they haven’t said anything about it but I hope it is not and they fix it when they make a pass on sigils to make them work underwater (several do not).

The answer is: sigils are riddled with little bugs right now & we will find out their intentions when they make a pass at them. Use the official wiki to help find a set that works for you in the time being.

A tooltip stating which sigils share CDs and which aren’t would be very very useful since those Superior ones cost a fortune
