So before the latest patch that introduced the disable player item chatter I used the tickbox on my backpack to mute mine, now even if it is unticked(to not show on my back) it still chatters.

The disabled/hidden backpack I feel should still be muted.

Not a major bug or anything, just thought I’d mention it.

what you disabled there is the showing of the backpack. The visual on your back. The audio is in your settings. It’s a seperate thing.

what the person is saying is before the patch if you hid the backpack in the hero panel, it wouldn’t play the voices. now after the patch, even hidden, it plays the voice.

Arguably, that’s a bug with the showing/hiding of back items. There are four permutations:

• Back pack = checked, ‘disable item chatter’ = unchecked → should be able to hear chatter.
• Back pack = checked, ‘disable item chatter’ = checked → should not hear chatter
• Back pack = unchecked, ‘disable item chatter’ = unchecked → should not hear chatter
• Back pack = unchecked, ‘disable item chatter’ = checked → should not hear chatter.
