Birthday present will magically disappear from the mail, if left. Mine was a week old, looked at it lovingly yesterday, and today—its gone. If it has something to do with me being in he mad kings realm, or not, I have no idea, but left me with a bad taste in my mouth!
Check your inventory for it.
If you hold onto too much mail, the oldest messages get deleted, with any items on them being dropped into inventory.
At least, that’s how it worked six months ago, I see no reason for it to have changed.
