Guild Wars 2

I’ve read a lot of people are having issues since the last patch and have considered myself lucky that I’ve played for a few hours each day for the past few weeks without incident.

However…

I had several crash-to-desktop incidents yesterday while playing WvW without the usual crash report popping up which happens sometimes while there’s a 3 way zerg fight going on so I didn’t really think much of it… sometimes these things just happen.

Now today, while getting ready to queue for WvW I noticed my mouse cursor had disappeared and very shortly afterwards i get the CTD with no error report.
After trying multiple characters I find after a few minutes I loose my cursor and anything I do afterwards is causing a CTD, always without the error report form.

I can’t seem to nail down what is initially causing my cursor to disappear but once it does I get a CTD if I open the map, load into an instace or story area, join EB (ofc it lets me wait out the queue >.< ). Even if i just stand idle wherever I log in, eventually the cursor goes and the CTD happens.

This has only been happening for me since around 8pm (gmt) yesterday evening if that helps at all.

Here’s a link to a (poor quality sorry) video duplicating the “bug”, it can be hard to track the cursor so I’ll give timestamps of when it happens.

29s : Black screen was a crash to desktop after setting resolotion back to full screen and may not be related to this issue

2:20 : Cursor dissapears

Just to clarify, the crash will happen eventually even if I don’t open the map or one of the other associated actions that cause it to happen as mentioned above, but the cursor going AWOL is pretty consistent within a few mins of the game loading up and Its happening on char select/creation too.

Oh goooooooood. This is happening to me now as well. It happened for a week or so during Halloween, then vanished. Reinstalled/updated graphics drivers, reinstalled the game, adjusted graphics settings, etc. Nothing worked.
