This is probably the strangest bug I’ve ever had.
For clarification, I can play without getting these errors in, so far, any other zone.
1) When going into Queensdale, it seems I’m still connected, at least in part. I can continue to chat in guild/party/say, and can often see other players fighting/dodging/etc. and responding to the environment
2) Sometimes enemies load but often times do not
3) My walk/run toggle is delayed by several seconds if they respond at all
4) My attacks are delayed, flashing as if I’m on a weak connection, and either cast with a great delay or just don’t cast at all
5) Eventually, I usually get disconnected with error 7:11:191:101. Sometimes it allows me to stay in game several minutes, while being unable to attack/walk/interact with my environment
Trouble shooting I’ve done:
1) Reinstalled the game, with no change
2) Manually opened ports through my firewall, with no change.
3) Given it time – this error first started occurring 24 hours ago. I was able, for a time, to play on one character in QD but not another, however this bug now seems to be affecting all of my characters. I logged on around 3pm, had the error, reinstalled and logged off. Came back around 10pm, same error. Tested around 3am, same error. Came back 10:30 am same error, etc.
4) Changed out my ethernet wire, with no change
5) Turned off my firewall and virus protection, with no change
6 ) Shut down computer, with no change.
7) Logged on my husband’s computer, who had been in QD and never had issue, and still had the exact same error. This seems to point to it being an issue with my account and Queensdale.
Other information:
According to speedtest, my current Ping is 74 ms, my Download speed is 87.70 Mbps, Upload speed is 11.09 Mbps
I’m using windows 8 on an Asus ROG machine
I was able to spend several hours in other zones (Divinity’s Reach, Southsun Cove, Lion’s Arch, Rata Sum, Gendarren Fields, etc.) without any issue
For the past couple of weeks I’ve also been getting a bug wherein the guild is ‘unifying servers’ and, for a minute or two, while remaining connected and logged in on a character, I’m unable to send or receive text via say, guild, party, etc. It then shows my friends list ‘come online’ all at once, and my guild list ‘come online’ all at once, and I’m able to then chat, however I don’t see what was said in the interim. I don’t know if these two things are connected
Some of this seems to point to just a bad connection, but my internet speed is great, and I’m able to continue using the internet without problem even while these errors are occurring, and all problems are, so far, localized to Queensdale.
