Guild Wars 2

Over the past two days I’ve been randomly disconnecting from GW2 (the game goes unresponsive for about 10 seconds and then disconnects me).

However once this has happened i find myself unable to login again or access anything related to GW2 (such as the website homepage, forums and rankings) for about 5 minutes.

I’ve already tried clearing the IP’s on my allow list and resetting my router, verifying but the problem still persists.

Still getting disconnected, it seems to happen randomly but also when trying to transfer between maps in WvW.

Would really like a fix/ help about this issue as its causing WvW and even the game itself to be unplayable for me.

Oh thanks for assuming i haven’t already…

I have infact searched and this is not the same then just disconnecting and getting back into game after, i get completely shut out of the game and website for about 5 mins which gets very annoying if you was in the middle of a high value keep assault when it happens.

Just happened again at the end of a CoF run, quite annoyed as i did not get my daily as i couldn’t reconnect in time because the client & website locks me out.

This is the error i get when trying to login after disconnecting and below is an error log of when i straight up client crashed twice in Fireheart Rise.

And the error message/ code when i disconnect in-game and then become unable to access the website, forums or re-login for about 5 mins.

I am also getting this problem, it started occurring after the news of the new items in the shop.
Not losing connection to anywhere else, just the server and forums. After a while everything works again.

Would be nice to get some kind of response as to how i can fix this before tonight’s World vs. World reset, as an SoR commander i kind of need to not disconnect and this problem has only ever occurred this once to me.

Are the periods of time between the disconnect different or around the same. And is it only in WvW?

Times are random, no pattern. I’ve mainly been dcing in WvW (but i wvw 95% of my online time) however its happened inside cof, outside in fireheart rise and acouple times in LA too.

Its not my internet connection because everything else (skype & teamspeak3) remain going and online and i also instantly open up a browser apon dcing.

Could be a firewall problem, since all other internet application keep working.
Try removing gw2 from the firewall and adding it again. Or maybe even reinstal gw2, if problem persist, it can be your router but I doubt that.
and it could indeed be a gw2 side bug because I did hear several people disconnecting in WvW.

If I were you I’d check your firewall, and even reinstall gw2, if youb haven’t already tried it.

It might be possible that your Network is set to home or public and the firewall rule is set on private, which I also doubt but I’m just shouting some options you can check.

I have no firewall running at all (as I’m confident in my online usage) and nothing has changed in my home network that would explain why this has only just began happening.

I’ve already tried a complete reset of my entire network (releasing IP’s of my computer, removing and disconnecting any IP/ sessions on my account and fully resetting my network).
