So twice now I’m just team que with a bunch of my friends the game was unbearable 3 of us got disconnected. Some how our bunker guard stood in game we won I eventually got to log to come to being dishonorable? With a match-made win chest how does that make sense?

This is a holdover from the original Guild Wars during Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood battles. During the battle, one side would send players to the other side and pretend to be part of the team, once they entered battle they would immediately logout of battle or map out. This would leave a full enemy team on the field, while you could only field just a few.

The Dishonorable was added to keep enemy players from abusing the combat system, so both sides could field an equal number of people.

Unfortunately if you Disconnect, it’s programmed to view that as a Map Out and you get hit with a point of Dishonorable. So many points and….well you get the idea.

When I’m cute, I can be cute. But when I’m mean, I can be very very mean.

Usually when u map-out u get no progress win. So why the rest of my team didn’t get dishonorable and I did after wining the game.

I think arenanet used a few ideas from the original game and put it into Guild Wars 2, because it was a tried and true method.
