If a boss (or any other creature) dies in a dungeon while a player is out of range, that player appears to be ineligible to loot the corpse. This becomes problematic in dungeons when deaths occur frequently, as a player returning to a boss fight may miss out on the moment of death and be unable to loot the satchel of bonus loot that they drop.

I’m not sure if this is working as intended or a bug, but I find that it acts as an incentive for players to remain corpses as long as possible, as loot right seem to be distributed regardless of character health.
