I’ve run though EVERY location at least 4 times, and dived out of combat, variations of 1 -2 or 2-1 etc etc. Why is it that I simply cannot get this achievement done? Its very frustrating that the achievements cannot list which map has not met the dive master criteria. This is impeding my in-game progress, could I please get some assistance on this?
Kindly please refrain from asking me to run every single point again, I’ve already wasted more than 2 gold trying to get the achievement done. At this point I just want to see my gold spent at least be worth something. Would really appreciate areanet telling me SPECIFICALLY which map isn’t complete, or my gold returned for poor achievement tracking. I had to track using pen and paper.

I decided to go for the Dive Master Achi, but I done ALL 37 point and I dont know which one isn’t counting.
(still need to do the ‘Not So Secret’)
Just read the pcgamer collation article about the new stuff Anet is pushing up- Something related to our issue is the "Better tracking for achievements " . Hopefully this involves the achievements that require the player to travel around Tyria. Would be nice to get a solid confirmation on this
I just wanted to add that I am in the same boat – I went through and did them all (some for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th time) yesterday and am at 36/38. Granted, I have not yet done the Aetherblade one, but I have done the rest.
I was wrong, I was actually just missing a couple and I found them!
There’s the possibility that you might have hit something on the way down, or landed in the wrong place, or have landed wearing something other than your underwear.
IIRC, the Dives only register if you land in water with your Goggles on and only then go back to normal.
Same problem here, for me and some of my guildmates. 36/38, with Not So Secred still uncompleted. Would be awesome to know the bugged 37th position.
Did it many times, without hitting a single object, landing in the water and (guessing) in the right place, since it’s right under every goggle.

the two bugged for me are the etherblade one and the rata sum one.
I managed to do to the etherblade dive, but i stayed at 36/38.
aetherblade is bugged for me on two accounts. completed jump 3 times today on both accounts and no achievement 37/38. don’t want to keep doing this horrible place. so just give me the point and all is forgiven.
Its good to know that I’m not the only one with this problem- and I don’t mean happiness in the shared misery- We need to bring this to Anet’s attention. I’ve reported this many times :V. I just went around a full dive master location circle- and yep, still 36/38. I’ve done all the new ones, not so secret,best dive ever etc. I loved the zephyr sanctum one btw. Please anet, halp us! I’d have thought you would have implemented a better tracking system when you said you would- Now its just shinier, but not much more useful
Ditto – bump. ANET needs to fix all these achievements that are bugged and we cannot complete. Starting to feel like Sony/EQ or Blizzard/WOW when developers got lazy and stopped caring about fixing bugs.
I have 37/38. Submitted multiple bug reports on thsi achievement and months later still no fix.
I have done them all about 4 times each.
Personally I think its the Brisban Wildlands one at East End Waypoint since everytime I do it my diving clothes never come off and I did them in order with the dulfy guide and it was in those numbers that my count went off. Did maelstrom over and over at both locations as well and all the ones around it like 6-7 times each as well.
its annoying not having it tell you which one is missing and they really should get on the ball with this since its been like this since the start.
I have recently re-visited every location, jumping from each one 3 – 5 times. I still have not gotten the achievement. I really wish a Dev would at least acknowledge this issue.
I have the same problem. I am missing two and have gone through all the locations at least twice. I gave up – I am waiting for the Kiel benefits of reduced waypoint costs. Porting around to all these buggy dive spots is expensive.
Bumping this because some sort of response would be nice and I am in the exact same position.
I had 8 done just from playing over the past year. No idea which ones, so I went down the list in the wiki and did them all again. Finished with 36/38. Thought maybe I hit something, missed a trick or bugged when I hit the water, so I looked up the Dulfy guide and then went down that list. Still 36/38 with 94%. Some of them I did multiple times if the dive was iffy (cursed shore birds attacking / short dives where trick might not finish animation).
Are the problem puzzles going to be identified so people don’t spend 49s+ checking each one? Is there a solution being implemented that will list what goggles have been completed?
Since the achievement isn’t really complete-able and there is no way for players to identify which areas are trouble you may want to consider temporarily hiding it to keep others from pursuing it. It does amount to a decent time investment and good bit of pocket change.
I went through the whole list on the wiki just last night and ended up stuck at 37/38.
I re-jumped all of them, even ones I knew I had already done. I also know I completed both of the ones that supposedly don’t count (Karka Hive and Labyrinthine Cliffs), because I have those achievements.
I’ve seen this bug reported now for a long time. Please please please fix it.
Yup, same here. I took the whole route for all the diving points when they came out. back then, the one one the bridge in metrica was bugged becuase the goggles werent there. so 1 was missing. when they fixed that, i did all of them, with teh result that i got 36/37. wrote a report, noe response as it’s usual. took the time in may and redid them, same result. when the eatherblade diving point came, i redid them ALL again, with 3(!) chars to be sure but nope.. nothing. i dont know wich one is bugged. Obviously the aetherblade one because iam stil at 36/38 but wich one is the other missing one? ill never know. it’s sad.. i think of it this way: it’S brought into the game, got a fix ones, new one was added but fixing a known problem isnt on the agenda? wow..
Did the achievement last week, had absolutely no problems with it, only make sure you used at least one goggle ability while falling and don’t jump outside of the “jump” zone (happened to me once, goggles disappeared before i reached the water).
Not so secret is a pain though, respect for the double-finishing
I just went through all 38 points this morning. Still got 36/38. I have the “Not so secret” cleared. I specifically checked for the increase on this one. As I did for most. But forgot on some.. Not sure which ones are bugging and really can’t be kitten d to go through all again.
