I cannot use diving goggles in neither of my eight level 80 characters. When I try to make the diving jump I get an “You cannot use this object at this time” error message.

same for me at the not so secret diving location, cannot use item (goggles) w/ either lvl 24 or lvl 80 character…
been trying to get there for hours!

The use of diving goggles seems bugged at every maps.

Last night visited EoTM with a friend to teach him how to get done the 3 towers achivements (equip a pair of diving goggles, jump off the top of tower and land in a bucket of water) and d.g. were not available. Later at Timberline Falls – Gentle River d.g. not working either. Same happens to Iron Marchs – Chaos Crystal Cavern (when you have to jump to get access the jumping puzzle there), this not working as intended.

Please devs check this megabug since affects all maps and achievements to be done and some are real hard to access as diving goggles are at the end of a jumping puzzle and the frustration to find this situation!

Yeah, thanks to NPE, diving googles are broken on several (or all) maps, I couldn’t use one at Malchor’s Leap too a few days ago.

You might be able to fix this bug by leveling a character to about level 10 or so. A friend was able to fix it by using a level 20 scroll on a new char.

No, this is not a fix, it’s a unneeded workaround. But yes, that’s a possibility (if you have a character slot to spare).
