Please do something against people who were able to do monthly achievements 2 or 3 times. Its unfair they got up to 82 achievements points more because of some bug. Now people who arent affected by this have to salvage over 8200 items to make up for it!

The game isn’t a race. You don’t “have to” do anything to make up for it. The palce to compete against other players is PvP and WvW, it’s not your achievement points (which are irrelevant and primarily a measure of how much free time you have, anyway).

You do realize that if a monthly resets, it’s nearly impossible to avoid completing it again, right…? What do you expect me to do, stop doing DEs, WvW, or salvaging items? Please.

Oh, and salvaging more won’t ‘make up’ for any achievement points you were hoping to get, as once you hit the monthly, it won’t reset until Oct, 1st.

I dont care about the coins or coppers. I care about the achievement points. They should be removed from everyone who got affected by the bug and got them more than once.

Well I care. I salvaged literally every white and half my blues (rarely broke even on mats vs selling to vendor) thinking it would be a big deal due to the enormous requirements. I even went so far as to purchase a ton of salvegable items, losing money. Thinking “Hey, it has to be a nice payout”, so to me, getting the equivalent of one white item was a massive letdown.

I would hope it is trivial to determine who has ‘more’ then two rewards thus far for monthly achievements and take those points away…not sure.

I seriously never understood these people who complain about what others are getting in contexts where there isn’t even any competition.

It in no way hurts the game economy and they aren’t even “ahead” of you because achievement points don’t matter. Spend your time doing something that matters like getting an armor set or your legendary. The monthly should honestly work as it is, as the reward is garbage already anyway, and I was able to complete it within the first 3 days, what am I supposed to accomplish the rest of the month?

You sound like the kind of kid who’s toy broke and to make it fair mommy has to break your little sisters toy too. You are welcome to do it again as well if you really want that extra point, even knowing the reward is crap.

Just because you dont care about doesnt mean noone cares about them. I know plenty of achievements point hunters.

There’s still no valid reason to be that guy that’s gotta take away everyone else’s points because you didn’t take the time to do it again. At most they gained 1-2 more single points. You can make that back 16 times by doing your daily, and someone having more than you doesn’t matter at all.

Uh? Its not that I dont want to take the time, its because I cant do it, since monthly achievements are still at 100% for me. For some people they already bugged out twice already which resetted it to 0%, making them able to collect 41 point twice more than normal.

As someone with 3099 achievement points who never even got to complete it once, all I can say is…

…achievement points really don’t matter. Not once has someone even pointed out in guild or group or even privately to me about how I have like twice to three times as much as them. If you think people will make a big deal over a measly 41 points, you’re wrong. Multiply that monthly achievement 20 times, and they still couldn’t care less. Get over it mate and just enjoy the game.

Trust me, there are much more pressing issues that are in the game at the moment. Monthly achievements can be fixed another day, what is more concerning is the dungeons which are supposed to be our so called “endgame”. Most, if not all, are bugged in one way or another.
