I have never experienced such a buggy mmo before. I would expect this from small start up companies… Not a company on its second major mmo. Do you actually test anything?

You introduced two class breaking bugs in both mesmers and elementalists. How do you not find these? Both classes I play are now fubared.

Time to go play halo 4

Ullrom – Mesmer

I want to know the same question. What is going on down there? Like one person testing skills or something!?

Fact: every Thief tells you to “l2p” when the subject is to nerf stealth.

Well, according to what a developer said in the ranger forum: there is only two people planning/implementing/etc class balance (therein skills.)

Not a full team, just two over worked people.

Elemental transform abilities and mesmer illusions are badly borked.

I take it that you haven’t played a lot of MMOs, then!

Anyway, I think I might be… In Be____ Th____ Lo__.

Nobody at Anet loves WvW like Grouch loved PvP. That’s what we need, a WvW Grouch, but taller.

I’ve played a ton of mmos. This is by far the buggiest of what I would consider top tier mmos. Maybe I need to lower my expectations.

Ullrok – Warrior
Ullrom – Mesmer

Ironically enough, right now the Mesmer can cause any class to experience the loss of trait stats while transformed. Now Moa Bird not only kittens offensive output, if you had defensive traits it takes THOSE away too!

Just waiting for the video of someone getting downed from the Moa Bird cast itself.

And well, Eles and Engis able to down themselves by transforming with low enough health and having +vit traits. They’re going to fix this, of course, but the game is much more difficult than it should be for scholar classes right now…

I just hope they won’t be releasing anything on December 21.

This is no surprise to me. They have been this horrible with patches since the beginning. It’s just amusing to see how bad it gets every time. So far they have gotten consistently worse every time. I’m still not REALLY playing the game since the drop rate bug was introduced. Instead of actually playing the game and having fun i am reduced to resource hunting to make enough money so i can maybe get one or two new pieces of armor so i can advance one character to the tougher zones. Before i could just play and the armor would come in drops. Yes i am having SOOO much fun now. Wish i could go back to enjoying the game.

Haha. You won’t get an answer to this question. You’ll get the same lame excuse over and over. This game is pretty much dead to me at this point.

Considering the number of huge bugs created by this patch the obvious answer is NO. There’s no way these Class breaking bugs should have passed any type of testing. The Fractal they patched is completely borked, to the point where you can’t even finish it.

I cant fathom how this patch passed QA…

Taking my experience in GW1 into consideration, this is honestly what you could expect. In GW1, each class had something like 100 skills (just an example, i dont know the actual number, nor do i care. it was a significant number though). If one was either too buggy or was getting abused in the meta, instead of fixing it, they broke it into nothingness.

Someone should point out that if they do that in this game, there will be no usable skills in a couple more patches, because we only have about 40 per class this time. (again, not counting the actual number. just making a point)

It really seems like there is no care put into these changes. Knee jerk reactions based on crying, lack of skill and laziness. I cant fathom how things this big could be released to a live environment. I understand the no-lifers that blast through content in 4 hours cry and whine for more stuff to do, but how about fixing the current content rather than pushing out more bugged/broken crap?

As long as we don’t have another Smiters Boon incident!

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback but as it is written in the thread explaining how this Bug sub forum works, you cannot express it here.

[…Only post bugs: this forum is not for feedback, discussions, or questions about particular gameplay aspects, and every post that is not a bug detracts from time we could be spending looking into other issues.…]

The thread is therefore locked.

Thanks for your understanding.
