When exploring Caledon Forest with my Char Warrior, I went to see if I can obtain the explorer achievement “Don’t Touch the Shiny”. The goal is to enter a skritt cave and open a blocked passage by throwing a blue orb. I tried doing this by many different angles and distances, but the door doesn’t open no matter what I do. When checking guides on Youtube just to make sure it wasn’t my own fault, I noticed other posters saying they couldn’t get the door to open as well. When possible, can someone look into this?

There are many things like this not working, including hearts that are extremely difficult to finish because the main things you are supposed to be doing aren’t working, ex: termite mounds and hylek guns.

I was told it was related to a recent bug fix about damaging inanimate objects, but I don’t know.

I did this without any problem roughly a week ago.

That’s not to say it hasn’t been broken in the mean time though.

The patches did it. With the feature patch, and some subsequent bug fixes, many things broke.
