Guild Wars 2

Basic info lvl 27 Human Engineer. Did the whole quest, through and through, died hundreds of times mostly due to the ridiculous regeneration rate. Without 3 turrets upgraded, I couldn’t even do enough damage for it to show.. I know I was under level, but come on. I ended up killing them all and both turrets. Quest would still not end. I put up turrets to see if there was some pirate bugged. They stuck to firing towards the left turret if facing north. Seems like that could be the cause for the bug. Sucks, since this is one of the first missions for the whispers. Spent hours on trying to figure it out and destroyed all my armor. Completed the quest with no pants on.

Just going to bump this up. Tried the mission again. Same problems. Really frustrating not being able to do the first mission of the entire Whisper line.

If I had known I couldn’t continue playing the game I would have chose another.

Same here, could not complete this quest earlier today :/

Im glad this is catching on. Been driving me nuts, I want to play but no reason to continue this character.

I also cannot complete this quest, even with help from guild mate it could not be done.

For all the pre-release fuss they made about the personal storylines, they don’t seem in much of a hurry to fix them when there’s a bug completely blocking all progress. I also added other people’s posts about this quest in my original one (linked up top). I think we just need to keep bumping posts about this mission until someone notices.

I don’t know if they fixed it, but I was able to do it today.
