Same here. Neither of the Dragon Ball achievements are counting for me either.

I have the same problem. Please fix that bug.

I am not getting meta achievement advancement for the Dragon ball achievements. Is this a bug, or is it meant to be this way? I have completed Dragon Ball Devotee and it has not counted towards the meta achievement.

I also get no credit for the dragon ball achievements, I am trying very hard to get the wings and hope that they do fix this issue quickly.

Still hoping for Anet to respond.

I have 8 and only showing 6. With this many people having the same problem I’m sure a fix is soon coming…. fingers crossed :-)

I noticed that too. Seems like a bug but I have not seen an official response yet.

Just so people know, this is from the guild wars 2 teams dragon bash guide.
With the June 11 release, eight new Dragon Bash achievements are available, in addition to the The Dragon Bash Experience meta-achievement, which requires 10 of the possible 14 achievements to complete.
According to that the dragon ball achievements should count.

Well, that at least gives us their intent, thank you Uther. Let’s hope it’s fixed by the 18th so people aren’t delayed on getting their wings.

They probably do not want people getting the wings already and will make the dragon ball achievements count later.

Probably because they’re busy, you know, working on the game. That said, I’m having the same problem.

I am also experiencing this problem.

My achievments are stuck as well, 100% for Dragon Ball games/wins and no Update on the UI. or % towards total completion for the event. Please help!

That is exactly whats going on for me. I have 9 out of 10 done but it says 7. please fix this bug.

odd, now there’s people saying that ANet said they DONT count in a recent interview. If that is true, ANet will have thrown all my respect away since it was stated before that you can earn 8 from the start.

I sure hope it gets fixed, or there will be alot of upset players who have wasted their time and energy.

I hope as well, although its a fun game to pass the time by even with people who don’t play.

Mine didn’t count as well.

I actually have 2 out of a possible 7 achievements not showing up. Anet should be addressing all the achievements and checking for bugs to make sure all goes seamless, if not there will be a lot of disgruntled people who have taken time to work for these wings.

Just to let everyone know, still says you need 10 when you see it in the top right corner. I have 7 achievements and if we only need 8 now, it should not say 70%. May just be a display issue.

I’m having the same issue. It should say 88% (assuming it rounds up).

Yeah, this doesn’t seem changed, as I have completed 6, and when I select it to track it, it shows 60%. Should I not be 75%? Even the filled in progress still ‘looks’ like 60%.

But I see all the other achievements opened to track after the patch…but those aren’t available yet?

I’m pretty sure it’s been possible to track those since the start of the event. They just aren’t possible to complete yet. I assume they’ll be available tomorrow when we can start lighting the effigies. But that’s just an assumption on my part.

I bought some un-shattered wings, and I like them very much, but I can also see the shattered ones having a different appeal and look. I’m trying to decide if I want to hog them or will one to an alt of mine.

In today’s patch notes devs say that they reduced amount of achievements needed for this meta from 10 to 8. I completed 8 achievements, but meta not completed. Why?

Although ArenaNet stated in yesterday’s update notes that the number of achievements for Dragon Bash Experience was reduced from 10 to 8 to make up for the Dragon Ball achievements not counting, whatever was changed did nothing. The meta-achievement is still requiring 10 achievements for completion.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that the percentage for this achievement isn’t a bug. If you complete the new instance, it increases the count to 8 and it doesn’t unlock the wings. I still need 10 achievements.

I second that observation. I have 8 complete plus the 2 dragon ball achievements. The game still shows that I have to complete 10 to get the wings.

Hoping for a fix soon.

I have the same problem. 8 achievements as shown on my Dragon Bash Experience bar and yet only 80% done.

Looks like that update yesterday, to change the Dragon Bash Experience achievement requirement from 10 to 8, did not go in:

“Reducing “The Dragon Bash Experience” meta-achievement required total number from 10 down to 8. The Dragon Ball Achievements do not count towards its completion.”

I’m not sure if is it a bug, or not, but today I’ve played the “protect the wounded councillors” achievemenet, and got 1 gold for it. I hope you won’t take that 1 gold from me ! It felt so good playing that mission …
