Despite the last hotfix saying the following:
“Fixed an issue with Piñatas where players could interrupt each other and not get candy or achievement.”

They’re still very much broken. Fireworks too.

I feel bad whenever I see a player run up to me while I’m already interacting, and they’re just left to stand there, since it broke for them…

Same here lost 3 piñatas in bout 10 min then decided to stop hitting them for a couple days.

I still have the same thing.

People using the teleport hack are the worst! Ruining it for me!

Pinatas issue apparently is not fixed. I had three of them disappear, heard the sound on one and saw confetti in two of them, but did not get credit for any of them.

Someone else hit one earlier this evening at the same time I did but I did not get credit for it either even though I hit it a second prior to them.

Please fix these.

Note that the patch notes had this line removed. So it seems they’re aware of the continuing problem with the pinatas and fireworks.

Best you can do is wait for others to finish bashing them and do them after or get there first. It’s happened to me several times today.

Same here. Borlis Pass, if that makes a difference. I SEEM to have been in bashing range [F] and lost out on it without ever pressing F. More testing to be sure if that’s the case or not. But definitely losing out on goodies.

(I KNOW pinatas are supposed to be broken, but I didn’t think they meant it quite like this.)

Yeah, it happened a couple times to me last night too. All I can recommend at this point is waiting until the person is done before starting your smashing.

If I watch someone smash the piñata the whole way, it vanishes. But if I turn away while they do it and look back after its still there.

Pinatas still erupting prematurely, fix needs fixing.

This evening while running through LA I hit up all the pinatas I could find, just to see if the download this evening fixed this problem.

As far as I could tell it did. Not only did I only have to hit the pinatas once, but there were two other folks who ran up to it at the same time I did and all three of us got our pinata without problems.
