Guild Wars 2

Just completed both the “Crate Scrapper” and “Leave No Survivors” achievements, but didn’t receive the completed achievements pop up, rewards/loot, OR the achievement points that go with it. WTF?

I even followed Dulfy’s guide to the T (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQyDTs2Wf4M), and unless the guide isn’t correct (which I highly doubt), it must be bugged, because I did everything in it.

Even after killing the champion ooze, I still didn’t get that achievement either! Something seriously wrong there.

Really not fun, and I am SOOOOO not doing that again. It was annoying enough killing all the vet mobs, let alone the champions, solo.

Please fix it, if not for me, for others that can be bothered doing all this again. Thanks.

1. Did you attempt to do the achievements in the replayable instances? (i.e. with the purple star, rather than the green star)

2. Are you attempting to do the achievements on the same character that has already completed the story once before?

Just found out I had to complete it on my guardian as well. See I completed the story on my ele, but not my guardian, and as I was using my guardian, I figured it shouldn’t matter because I had already completed it on my ele [logic].

To be honest I think it’s really stupid that you have to play the content twice if you want to do an achievement on another character :-/

Edit: Redid it on my ele and got the champ ooze achievement, but on attempting to kill mob #11 while keeping the robot on the assassin (mob #10), I killed the 3 inquest dudes, but upon returning, the assassin wasn’t there at all – and I know he was there because he spawned. I guess he just glitched/disappeared even though it took me only a few seconds to kill the inquest dudes, and the robot should have held aggro on the assassin so IDK wtf went wrong.

So even though I did it on the correct character this time, I manage to get a bug >_< so now I have to do it for a third time… Going to try guesting on Jade Quarry in hopes it will be different. Man this sucks.

Edit2: And it happened again. Here goes 4th attempt… Urgh

Edit3: And the assassin got glitched underground and retreated. 5th attempt.

Edit4: Ok I got the assassin this time, but as he was going to the gate I made sure to kill the inquest dudes, but then the assassin ran back, and before I knew it he disappeared again? WTF!?!?!?!?

This is some seriously frustrating BS. How am I SUPPOSED TO DO THIS!?!?!?!!?

7th attempt… sigh

Figured what’s wrong on 8th attempt, then stuffed it up because of all the other failed attempts. Will get it right on 9th attempt >_< this is definitely the most frustrating achievement I’ve had to do in all 2+ years of playing.

Edit: Make that the tenth attempt because it was glitched in the wall again. sigh Thanks Anet.

11th attempt finally managed to get it. Wow. What a pain in the you know what. Jeez.

Yeah. I find this restriction extremely annoying as well. >.< At least you know now though.

I’m having the same issue. Already completed the story, definitely successfully completed both Crate Scrapper and Leave No Survivors and did not get achieve credit for either.

And yes I did assassin and inquest in tunnel. I tripped Assassin trap (she spawned and doors opened) but did not aggro her. Killed inquest in the tunnel, returned to assassin and got her down before she even went in the tunnel.
