Guild Wars 2

While doing Dragon’s Reach Part 1 with another profession, I discovered that I would not get the completion check mark after completing this story; I do for all the other section of season 2 though. I had done the story with an elementalist before as well as credit for all the achievements. Therefore, it should have been fine just running my necro through the story. The problem arrived after doing The Way Point Conundrum but before completing the Summit Invitations.

While, I get the green check mark that tracks my progress through the story of Dragon’s Reach Part 1 for The Way Point Conundrum. However, the progress in Summit Invitations removes the green check mark from The Way Point Conundrum after I talk with Braham and Eir. Even though, my story keeps moving forward with Summit Invitations while removing any work I did under The Way Point Conundrum part of the story.

Also, I am assuming something similar occurs for losing the check mark for Summit Invitations during Plan of Attack since the green check mark for that is also missing after making progress in Plan of Attack. When you get a chance please fix this error. I have seen other people looking for a fix for this bug too.

A simply restart of the episode corrects the above problem instead of using the continue this episode button.

I am having another issue with Dragon’s Reach Part 1 and The Point of No Return from not being completed. I can go through them and get the green check for the sub-parts of each episode but at the end it will not list that episode as being completed. Also, they both are listed as “your most recent active episode” which seems strange to me since you would think only one of them would be listed that way. Also, I do not recall when each one of my toons was logged in when each episode was being released since there was a note about this in the past that they would have to be log in. However, I do not know if this is playing a factor or not in the error of them not being listed as completed or not relevant. I will post more as I learn more about this problem since I will be assuming all my other toons that have not completed it will have this same issue.

With my Mesmer, I start from the beginning of season 2 (this requires quieting the most recent episode and starting from the first episode) then played through all the episodes. I did not get credit for Dragon Reach Part 1 and The Point of No Return during the first run. I replayed the Pointed of No Return and still did not get credit. Today I went back and tried Dragon’s Reach Part 1 and did not get credit for that either. I am not sure what more to try with this toon.

I will try something different with my Engineer. Instead of quieting the most recent episode which is The Point of No Return. I will start with that episode and then go back to do the rest of the episodes of season 2 by starting with the first; none of the episode of season 2 have been done on that toon yet. I also have a Ranger, Guardian, Warrior, and Thief that I also have to do season 2.

Hopefully there will be a fix or a solution so those toons do not get stuck too.

I tried my Engineer with doing the Point of No Return first and so far the problems listed above have not caused the issues that I had seen with the Mesmer and Necro. My Engineer is currently on Dragon Reach Part 2 and it has been check off as fully completing episodes up to this point along with fully completing the Point of No Return episode too. I am hoping that the Engineer will complete it fully by next week with no errors as well as listing all episode as fully complete too so I do not have to go back to try them again with my engineer to get credit.

My Engineer just failed to fully complete Dragon’s Reach Part 2. I ran through all parts of the episode and completed them fully. However, I did not get credit it for the work and it says that it was the most recent episode that I had worked on while Echos of the Past is listed as my current episode that I am working. Everything up to Part 2 has received full credit for story and achievements. As stated before my elementalist has all episodes completed with achievements completed. Please look into this problem thank you. It is somewhat strange that my tools are erroring out on different parts of season 2 when they should be able to easily pass the story since the achievements are all listed as being completed.
