Is this exotic shortbow supposed to be both SoU ‘and’ account bound? I got it as a drop and this seems quite odd.

you probably got the drop before all MF-items became accountbound with updated stats.

I think that the new version of Drakevenom (if it still dropped) would have Assassin’s stats (Prec/Pow/Crit) http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Drakevenom, but interestingly they are no longer on the TP. Maybe it’s been removed altogether, though can’t see why since other previously-MF-items are there.

Essentially you now have a bow that you decide what the stats are, amongst a small craftable selection (Berserker, Rampager, Rabid, Carrion, etc).

that shortbow just dropped for me in Frostgorge Sound (with berserker stats) and it is already account bound and soulbound on use. Still seem to be buged (also not a single one on the TP)

Just got Drakevenom from the Forge, and it’s Account Bound and SoU.

Just dropped this bow in Frostgorge and it’s still Account Bound and Soulbound on Use. Is it really intended?

Multiple instances of this happening and still no response from devs on why it is SoU and Account bound, why both? Why not just one of these? is it bugged? Is it intended? Still no answer 18 days from OP.

Got it from MF just now and it’s also account bound. =|

Bump, this is pretty annoying. All I do is WvW and I finally get an exotic, I can’t even sell -_-

Just got one from Maw, account bound as well. Please look into it, I’m pretty sure it is not intentional!

Just dropped for me from The Maw and was still Account bound. Would be great if we could get a response on why.

I just got one from the mystic forge and same problem.

Got drakevenom whilst running AC p2, also account bound. Not great getting an exotic none of one’s character’s use.
