Druid with no pets
same thing here
Same, went into Heart of the mists with a pet and came out with no pet when I went to LA.
Dragonbrand
Have you tried charming a new pet(s)?
I believe we have them all unlocked, so I hadn’t tried. I just tested it – no charm dialogue.
If it contributes I think I had pets set to Smokescale/Fire Wyvern; whatever was default underwater/jungle stalker.
haha many rangers no druid have the same problem, but instead be on wvw and pve, they have no pets on pvp…and is normal on spvp
yeah I have no pets at all on my druid. It just shows the pet was inactive but I can’t activate the pet at all
edit: it happened after I entered pvp and exited. I am going to move the gear from him and remake the druid
edit 2: glitch happens when you take new pets into pvp and load back into pve areas

Was able to reproduce this problem for Beta characters. It seems to be caused by the fact that the HOT pets are not valid selections for PvP.
Create new druid. Set both pet slots to core pets. Go to the PvP lobby and back to Silverwastes. Result: Pets are both present.
Set one of the pets to a HOT pet (doesn’t matter which one). Go to PvP lobby and back to SW. Result: Active pet is set to the core pet, and the other slot that had the HOT pet is now blank/unselected.
Set both pets to HOT pets. Go to PVP lobby and back. Pet is now perma-stowed and no way to get them back. Can’t open the pet dialogue box with the keybind. Changing maps does nothing. You pretty much have to delete and recreate the character.
same thing here. I sent 2 support tickets about it.
Same problem here :/
12 hours later, problem still not fixed
4 days later ranger pet missing is still don’t fixed.
Try Stronghold, they said. It will be fun, they said.
I miss my pets already.
Also missing the pet. :-(
Same here…hope it’ll be fixed soon
fix for pet issue: go outside the map into some water and select (while u are underwater) ur land pets. When u come back out of the water u’ll have pets again.
(it worked for me, i hope it helps others)
That worked a treat. Thank you, Alysse.
