Dungeon rewards reduced for the first run of the day.
Just did my 2nd dungeon run, a completely different dungeon, 2 hours later.
Got 2 silver.
I had to pay 5 silver in repair costs.
Just finished doing Twilight Arbor dungeon with my guildmates. For our first run we picked Up + Up as our path and for the second run we chose Forward + Up.
First run gave us 7 silver 50 copper + roughly 133k exp ( dont remember the exact )
Second run gave us 6 silver ~ + 30k~ exp
Both runs took us at least 40~45 minutes to complete and we did this consecutively.
I don’t have screenshots to prove this but please look into your code again and fix this. You guys clearly rushed out this “nerf” system without much testing and now we as the players are losing fun factors. I suggest other people post as well if they experience the same issue.
I can confirm this… Few days ago (and about 10 levels ago) I did CM story one time and got about 20s and 100k xp.. Now today I did CM explorable 2 different paths in a row… Result was horrible as both runs resulted in end reward of 11k xp and 2s….. And I’m level 72, needless to say, that 2 silvers didn’t cover my repair fees and I ended up paying 1g just to complete dungeon. Motivating? No. Broken? Hell yes

3 members got 26 silver / 178k exp. 2 members got 2.6 silver 17.8k exp at the first and second run right after the patch.
Nobody ran it before.
Took another path – got: 13 silver, 9 silver, 9 silver, 2.6 silver, 2.6 silver.
After that repeated the previous path and got: 6.5 silver, 6.5 silver, 6.5 silver, ~3 silver, ~3 silver.
After that: ~3 silver, ~3 silver, ~3 silver, 2.6 silver, 2.6 silver.
It is not working as intended for sure.
We will run this again later today when daily reset and post screenshot.
It seems the countermeasures they put in are not functioning properly. Just did a different path I had not done in 2 weeks and received 2 silver for my time. I can understand wanting to prevent the speed runs of 1 specific path over and over… but that’s not the only thing being affected.

So I will not do any dungeon if that is what we get?
We did Ascalonian Catacombs (storymode) last week for the first time and it was hard work, but the reward (30 silver?) was quite appropriate. We also had to spend 8s for armor repair.
We would have been very disappointed and demotivated, if we have received 2s instead.
Did they also change the rewards for storymode?
For me it would be a solution, if you can do each dungeon with a high reward for the first time and then maybe you have to wait a little time until you get fully rewarded again.
Possibly that would reward the honest player in a worthy way and demotivate these people who want to farm money/ experience/ whatever there.
Just did another dungeon several hours later, rewards are still neutered.
did my first twilight arbor runs today twice consecutively and got the same rewards both times,~177k xp and 26s
Did my first run of the day and got 7s and 44k experience. It didn’t even cover my repairs. Awesome.
I agree. This is ridiculous. I’ve stopped dungeons altogether till this is fixed.
Similar experience here. I just ran AC explorable twice after not having touched it for a week; first ghost eater, then howling king. The second run only gave me 9s. According to Jon’s post, I should have gotten the full 26s reward since I was running a different path.
Did my second run (first one took about 50 minutes), TA instead of the new and (slightly broken) cof. Got 2 silver and 17k experience.
First run of the day again and got a reduced reward still.
Someone said it was related to doing dungeons before the patch hit but the 10 hours or so before the dungeon patch I was doing WvW and I was sleeping when the patch hit.
45 minutes later we do I run I have never do before in my life and I get 2 silver instead of 26.
I’m getting diminishing rewards for doing different paths of different dungeons. So now I cannot do ANY dungeons without lowering my silver rewards. Today I did 2 dungeon runs:
AC path 2, which I haven’t done in 4 days. Got 13s
AC path 3, which I haven’t done ever. Got 3s25c.
CM Storymode, my second run of the day. I was with 2 guildies, who had run no dungeons for a couple of days. All 3 of us lvl 80. One guildie and I got 13s, the other guildie got 6.5s. Something is clearly wrong

More than a day since my last dungeon run I still get reduced rewards.
Better late than never I suppose, the past few days in dungeons have been really painful. (to my wallet, they’re still fun to run, arenanet did a good job designing them, though they’re a bit too easy, that’s a different issue)

Didn’t do any dungeons for 5 days and the bug is still there.
Actually the bug got worse, because it now also reduces token rewards.
So did you try the dungeons after the patch? What has become worse?
Yes I tried a couple of dungeons after the patch, all different paths and more than 30 minute in between.
It was worse because I also get a minute amount of tokens now.
Other members of my party weren’t affected by this, and we obviously complete the dungeons at the same speed.
I have done 11 Citadel of Flames runs in the Magg line since the revamp of the reward system
Day 1
First run 30 tokens (OK but not the 60 I’m supposed to get)
Second run 5 tokens (wtf)
Third run 10 tokens (wtf)
Fourth run 15 tokens
Fifth run 20 tokens (I give up although some people did report 8 and 60 in the groups I was in)
Day 2
First run 30 tokens
Second run 5 tokens
Third run 10 tokens
Fourth run 15 tokens
Day 3
First run 30 tokens
Second run 5 tokens
Clearly not working correctly, it would be nice to get tokens put on my account so I can get the last pieces of gear I need so I can get the hell out of the broken dungeons and go back to WvW
