Dwarven tombs, no dwarven keys to open them with
wrong.
Ive gotten one of those keys before in some lower level area… i didn’t know what it was for and it just say in my inventory for a few weeks so i just destroyed it
I personally got one of those keys soon after I started exploring the area. By the time I finished I did not get another single drop. Try some more, by killing mobs in the close vicinity of that area. In the meantime, maybe another player comes there having a key on him/her.
I had 5 keys in my inventory yesterday but never used them because the doors were already opened, so yes they are dropping.
I haven’t seen any yet. Been killing dredge for about an hour (which is absolutely painful for a thief) and nothing.
This is a problem for some people guys.

Killed some other things too along the way, but no keys. Focused on dredge because logically they’re the ones you’d expect to have them since they’re digging in the places the doors are.
The drop rate is low enough that random number streaks will happen. You can immediately get a drop, or you can kill thousands of mobs and not get one. It’s the same for the crystal in Metrica.
I got the POI’s without opening the door.

Then that is just crap design. “Let’s make an item you need to complete something benign like exploring a map appear completely sporadically!”
They either need to fix this or someone needs to make a NoClip command just for it.

Every hostile (red) creature in Dredgehaunt has a very small chance to drop a key.
I’ve got four of them sitting in my storage… and I acquired those just by going through the area working on my 100% map completion – I am not a farmer of any kind.
I got these without opening the door, I just jumped up into the middle of the door (like some folks do going through portals for no good reason), it got it close enough to trigger. I cleared the map and never saw one of the keys.
I have 7 of them in my inventory right now on TC. I used 1 to open the door originally when I was exploring that area. Figured I would hang on to them just in case they open doors elsewhere in the game I haven’t encountered yet.
