To date, this has only be replicated with one dye, and is gear-slot specific thus far. It’s also possibly gear-model specific, but I haven’t tested it on other armours.

The dye is Dust, the armour is Human Cultural Tier-3 Boots. It saves temporarily, but upon re-logging, the boots have been redyed Teal.

Replicating is easy. I dyed the boots Dust, saved it, and logged out. When I logged back in, they’re Teal. Or some colour close to it.

Have you tried using the dye remover on it then reapplying the color?

The same thing is happening to me with the shoulder and chest pieces. I tried everything, re-applying the dyes, removing the color then adding the one I want, copying the color from another armor piece, accepting and resetting. No matter what I do, as soon as I close the hero window, it reverts to the previous colors.

Try using Dye Remover on all channels. Accept that in the Wardrobe window. Close the Hero Panel. Open the Hero Panel and try applying dyes to all the Dye-removed channels. See if that helps. =)
