Is there a bug concerning the drop of dyes? I ask ‘cause I’ve a lvl14 character that I’ve recently created that has had ZERO dye-drops in 14 levels. That’s nil, none, not-a-one, zip, zilch, de nada, and sod all.
It seems that the only option I have is to buy unidentified dyes at 9-10 silver a pop or buy identified dyes which seem to range from about 50 copper to Oh my god… how much!!!
During beta and for a while thereafter, I had no problems getting dyes but now, as I said, not a single new colour in 14 levels that I didn’t buy. What’s going on?

Because they want you to spend real money on their dye packs. Nexon has arrived at a game store near you.

I went from getting 1 every 2-3 hours at launch, to now I’m lucky to get 1 per week. That’s with easily 25 hours of gameplay per week. Drop rate has been nerfed as much as 90% if I were to guess.

Random drops behave randomly. I’m getting dyes from the same sources and at roughly the same frequency as I did at launch. I’m sorry you guys are having bad luck, but two (or even 100 people) reporting reduced drops isn’t evidence of a change in the rate.

Dyes are still dropping, I`ve had 2-3 drop this week so far.

Dye drops seem about normal to me. I had three drop in maybe 6 hours of gameplay yesterday.

Now if only I didn’t keep getting the same dyes when identifying them… lol

Yeah, my dye-dropping-rate seems to be normal as well – 1-2 per 3 hours of gameplay.

Perhaps, the rate increases with increasing level? Some higher level mobs might have a higher % drop rate of dye?
