EMP grenades TA Aether path
I was in Vex’s group. I had done all the achievements pre patch myself. We were organized and all on TS except Vex. Assigned each other tasks before Clockheart boss.
Simi followed Caithe with watchwork portal device for Scarlet’s room.
Pako Jr, Pincher, Vex and me we each grabbed an EMP nade and proceeded up the ramps. Told em to stand closest to the ships as possible and aim for the balloon part.
Then I ran down to take out fleeing officer and assist the Lionguard event.
I know the timer stops when all events are done so the party can safely run to each of the 5 chest rooms without worrying about time.
We had more than 6min with only the EMP and Scarlet/Caithe left to do. I personally had enough time to make 4 grenade runs. Every ship took 2 grenades each at the very least. Yet it didn’t count for the event and we eventually failed and chest rooms closed up.
It’s a complete let down because we did a flawless achieve run of Aetherpath. We got the ooze fire ach, we got the foreman ach, and we got the electric floor panel one as well in the same run. What a bummer it had to bug out on the airships.
Confirmed for broken as of this last patch. Just did it twice with the same result. The two higher ships appear to have been reassigned to inert objects that you can’t EMP.

I led a party through the aetherpath last night and suffered from the same bug. I was wondering why the ships seemed impossible to hit correctly. We completed all the other after-boss events, so it was rather disappointing that we couldn’t get this one and finally nail that do-all-the-events achievement.
I hope this gets fixed soon since picking up the remaining achievements (or helping others do so) is really the only reason I have to run this path.
