Since implementation of NPE I’m seeing really long load times. On existing characters it’s been taking maybe 3x the time to load into Lion’s Arch. I just made a new character which took a couple minutes after hitting “create” to load the intro video for the new character. Then it look 5 MINUTES to load Metrica (the intro instance). Took another 5 minutes to load the real Metrica after finishing personal story instance.
Needless to say these times are atypical for my laptop. I have to tab out and make sure my internet is still working!
If I’m waiting 5 minutes just to see the popup on what keys to press for moving around, I’m going to be kittened.
