Guild Wars 2

Hey there, got back into the game recently with a friend and decided to start a new character alongside with him so he could have company experiencing the vanilla story. We get to the point where you meet your Order mentor (Setting the Stage: Vigil for myself, Whispers for him) and I did my bit first while he tagged along. Somehow it gave him the option to accept progress which he accidentally did, and now he’s been imprinted with Vigil missions when he clearly chose Whispers.

This is something that used to happen years ago when players were sharing their personal story experiences together, why is this STILL happening? Now my friend’s going to have to watch some online video to “kind of” see what he missed out on, and that’s a real shame because the Whispers mentor was quite awesome.

It still happens because it is not a ‘bug’, but a feature. Your friend will be put back on the Whispers storyline at the next arc beginning.
