I have recently started a Charr Necromancer named Lyri Ra, and have just completed Operation:Bullwork which I started at lvl 15. I set up my pet skills upon entering the instance, and open being given the sniper skill and the calling in the morter skill I had slots 7 and 8 filled, and slots 9 and 0 were open. I did not load anything into slot 0, but I put a minion in slot 9. Upon completing the instance I noticed that the skill was still in skill slot 9, and can be used, but not changed.

As is, at level 15, I have access to slots 7, 8 and a usable skill on 9. Four levels too early for such a thing.

I figured this was a bug and should come report this. I did not notice something like this in the forum thus far nor did I notice anything by searching for this issue that wasn’t two years old.

So, I have just attained a couple levels by crafting and exploration of the black citadel, to avoid skill use, and have found a further exploit. I have found a way to change skill slot 9 to any other skill I have access to.

By changing skill slot 7 or 8 to the desired skill, and then changing it again to the skill in slot 9, I can change the skill in slot 9 by swapping it.

I figured I should update this thread with new information that I had achieved.

It’s been like that for years. Ever since NPE, I think? There are some different ways to get access to some skill slots early. I’m sure the Devs are aware; likely lower on the priority list than other ‘bugs’.

Yup, it was a known bug around the time NPE was released but I thought it got fixed. Maybe this one specifically slipped through their fingers. *shrugs*
