After the Sept 9 patch, my minions started occasionally dying as I was running around the map. After some experimentation, I found that this was happening every time I crossed a boundary where my effective level changed. It also causes all the pet skills to recharge as if the pet was killed in battle, so I can’t resummon right away. Might not sound like much, but it’s extremely annoying when doing map exploration, and downright dangerous if you happen to be fighting right near a effective level boundary.

This might be related to the patch note that says re-assigning Flesh of the Master causes minions to be killed. I’m not actually re-assigning that trait, but I do have it selected, and it’s possible that the move from one effective level to another is causing the game to re-evaluate my assigned traits.

Same for me. I kept thinking something powerful was killing them. But there was nothing there. It seemed like when I walked across an area, they would freeze, then move slowly, then die. It makes the necro unplayable right now. I hope it is a bug and not something permanent. I loved my necro the best and will not play it now!
