While running my Chronomancer through Auric Basin the past couple of days she has been showing the Egg on her back even though is is way past that mission. That is pretty annoying to look at.

As you can see in the picture she is up to Hearts and Minds so it should not be there!

Have you tried a -repair of the client? Instructions found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below.

It’s indeed a bug and maybe a repair could fix. Even when that story step is active your own backpiece would be hidden and the egg one is showed instead, but from your pic the egg overlaps your backpiece.

I had tried a repair and I did it a second time and the egg is still there.

Does the egg persist outside the HoT maps?

No, it only exists in Auric Basin. Go to any other map and it disappears.

Someone said that you just need to progress the story past that part even if you don’t have it active.
