Ele Skill "Windborn Dagger" not working.
I reported this via the in-game method days ago. The countdown has expired if it is still not working. However, I tested it in PVP.

Its not working in PvP nor PvE.
The P.S. was just a little motivation and reminder for them to keep up the good bug fixing out of GW1
I also have noticed that this trait skill is doing nothing at the moment.
Bump. Can anyone confirm whether this is still broken? It seems to be for me, but would like a second opinion and it’s been 24 days since the last post.

Still broken. At least in PvE.
I really want that 15% speed increase without being in Air.

Has anyone heard any response pertaining to this issue? At least give us another trait that works guys
The Elementalist Master Arcana trait Windborne Dagger (IX) which reads “Move 15% faster while wielding a dagger” currently does nothing.
This thread was created almost 2 months ago with zero response and no fix in game.
Is this going to get fixed at all or should the trait be removed and replaced with something else?

If/when it gets fixed is anyone’s guess, ANet seem to have a grudge against Eles you see.
I don’t think it’s strictly related to Elementalists. Just a cursory look at each other professions own bug list it seems that Anet is hard at work ignoring everyone equally.

I can’t help but notice that a fix for this isn’t included in the 15 November Update notes. It must be a typo that it’s been left off the list. ANet couldn’t possibly have thought increasing ranger and warrior damage was a more important use of resources than to fix Traits that might as well not exist for all the effect they have.
Well disappointed this nut hasn’t been cracked yet… Elementalists have a hard enough time of it without having a completely useless traits to contend with too! Please enquire!

After nerfing RTL from 20 to 40s, how about fixing at least the other bugs so the class is fun and not as meh/lame/wishywashy/pointless as it is atm?

Ok I think I’m done with Ele class, you managed to nerf it so much that I forgot completely why I’m playing it. It’s now apparently some sort of tedious work with meager rewards to play it, instead of fun.
-bad damage compared to extreme squishiness, all other classes are much better in relative ratio
-you nerfed all mobility, the trait windborne daggers at least promises some but of course the tooltip is “bugged” – in reality you obviously left the tooltip like this on purpose so you can just keep the trait nerfed
-going for toughness is a joke compared to what warriors/guardians can do in comparison
-no great utilities/group buffs either compared to other classes – Pick guardian, it can also deal much more damage at same toughness, or less damage at much better survivability – as basically every other class too (except thief maybe)
-extremly tedious to handle compared to other classes. Have to manually switch weapons all the time or you’re a slowpoke/not useful for group in wvw. Fighting also requires much more effort, cycling through attunements, which other classes can have much simpler with same or better results.
-wanna be funny and spam aoe? Play Engineer, or maybe Necro even.
Yeah, you CAN do anything of the above as Ele.. And everything of it will be disgustingly mediocre and lame.
It was a great class when GW2 came out, now it’s kitten, sorry.
And here is my suggestion:
Restore the Ele’s mobility! That makes it somewhat distinguished and restores flow in playing again.
1) Unnerf RTL
2) Unnerf Windborne Dagger (should work out of combat, as the tooltip not restricts – fire your tooltip writer while you’re on it)
3) Reduce CD on Lightning Flash perhaps. Not required though.
Or the very best thing ever:
123) Add an out-of-combat weapon switch already, as was asked for since release.
