When Elementalist chooses an attunement, the icon for the selected attunement changes size/position so the top of it is a bit higher than the other attunements. For the last several weeks, this doesn’t happen consistently and there is no indication from the attunement selection icons which attunement is currently selected.

In general, it’s easy to see what attunement is selected by the weapon skills, but if you are holding something that temporarily overrides your weapon skills, and you don’t have any utility skills chosen that change their icons based on current attunement, it is difficult to know what attunement you’re currently in while fighting (you could always look at the animations around your wrists that indicate attunement, but the screen is often too busy for that).

Swapping attunements seems to temporarily fix this problem, but it returns. I don’t know what combination of events causes the problem to show up.

I submitted an in-game ticket for this, so this post if FYI if anyone else has this problem.
