Electric Discharge. 15pt Air Trait bonus effect.
“Strike your target with a bolt of lightning when attuning to air.”
This little bonus effect—one I can’t turn off, by the way—has a very annoying problem:
From the description, it’s supposed to zap MY TARGET…which should mean, a target I HAVE SELECTED at the time of attunement change. Instead, when I have no target selected at the time, it so kindly just picks out a nearby target and zaps it on my behalf. Hey, you like zapping things, right? Yeah, so I just helped you out, bro! High five!
No thank you. I’d rather determine who and what I zap all by myself. Bad enough targeting nearest is a crap shoot, I don’t need more things I can’t control getting me into undesired skirmishes with moa flocks and dolyak herds, and whatever else may be within range, but not yet (or wanted) aggroed.
Please fix.
