Guild Wars 2

I rolled an Elementalist from the beginning and I don’t understand.. Why is our health and damage so low, compared to other classes? There are classes out there that out dps us and can stay alive longer because of a larger health pool. There are snare spells that never work, and boons that dont last for the displayed duration, or charges. It just doesnt make sense.
