Please see screensot. I am not anywhere near the Lava, and yet I am taking lava damage on this spot, circled red.

However, if I were to step a bit more to the left (the spot circled in green, with the SAFE word) I would not take damage.

It makes deaths extremely cheap. It is a lack of consistency, please see second post.

Then, if I go to the next lava puddle…

I’m touching it and I don’t take damage!

There really are quality check issues at play here, when the world isn’t consistent in the way environmental damage is dealt. Stand on rock near lava puddle X? Take damage.
But lava puddle Y can be stood on but no damage? This lack of consistency makes for cheap deaths.

Please look into this. As for the Taimi issue, someone reported that he had issues on some characters, but not other characters. This is also bizarre.

There are some spots at the bottom of the JP where you’re on the rocks and yet still get burning damage.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Thought it’s just so hot around the lava which is the reason why I still get hurt :P
Quite funny to see it happens the other way around too.

Taimi’s game issues were addressed in a recent hotfix. See patch notes for more information.

Not only here, but there are many many many places where you take damage when you are clearly outside of an AOE attack circle.
